IA Host Family

I have been interested in hunting and fishing from a young age.  I used to go out and sit in tree stands with my dad as a little boy while he bow hunted and we would go fishing.    I enjoy time spent outdoors and used to read everything I could to learn how to hunt and fish .  I enjoy hunting and fishing and have been teaching my own children about hunting, fishing and shooting for many years now.  There are many activities that we enjoy doing together.   RAFD is something that is a great experience. My oldest daughter, Hailey, has attended for a few years as she fell in love with it the first year.  After her first year, she encouraged me to volunteer and I really enjoyed it myself too.  It is great to be able to pass on to others our knowledge and help them become better hunters.   I am looking forward to many years of helping teach the next generation of hunters about the great outdoors.
I can't wait to meet you and your participant at the next Iowa RAFD youth camp!
